Site: Peoria Civic Center, Hall A (Maps
and Directions to PCC) SATURDAY ONLY, January 16, 2010, 2 to 5 pm ALL WRESTLERS MUST WEIGH-IN WEARING A COMPETITION SINGLET. All wrestlers must pass hair, fingernail, and skin condition check before weigh-in. All questionable or suspect skin conditions must be reported on an IHSA skin condition form and brought to weigh-ins. Certified Athletic Trainers and Dermatologist will be on-site to make final determinations. |

Satellite Weigh-ins: |
Satellite weigh-ins are allowed ONLY
under the following conditions: (This exception was put in to accommodate wrestlers competing in their junior high or middle school competition.) #1 - Satellite weigh-in must be in conjunction with some type of wrestling competition (dual meet or tournament). #2 - Only those wrestlers who are pre-registered may use a satellite weigh-in site. No additional entries will be taken after the January 12, 2010 pre-registration deadline. #3 - Satellite weigh-in site must be approved by the IKWF Board. Please send request to ikwf@ikwf.org. #4 - IKWF Board is responsible for designating weigh master for satellite weigh-in site. #5 - Wrestlers, weights, and divisions must be faxed to Mike Urwin at the Peoria Civic Center by 2 pm, Saturday, January 16th, from designated weigh master approved for the satellite weigh-in site. |

Non-Refundable, Online registration, $15. Registration will automatically shut-off when 2,000 entrants has been reached or JANUARY 12, 2010 pre-registration deadline has passed. Pre-registration will end at 11:59 pm CST on January 12, 2010. |

National Federation of State High Schools with IKWF modifications of weight
classes, match times, and mat size. Head gear and covered shoelaces are required at this event. Freestyle singlet is allowed. |

COACHING IS ALLOWED! Limited to 2000 entries. A wrestler may only compete in one (1) division. |
| Divisions: |
All wrestlers must meet age requirements to participate. 6 year olds
and younger may not participate in this event. Age Group: Girls (born 9/1/94 through 2002) 7 & 8 (born 2001 & 2002) 9 & 10 (born 1999 & 2000) 11 & 12 (born 1997 & 98) 13 & 14 (born 9/1/94 through 1996) Elite: Novice (born 1997, 1998, & 1999) Senior (born 9/1/94 through 1997). 12 year olds have option of wrestling Novice Elite or Senior Elite. Elite divisions wrestlers DO NOT have to declare their weight when registering, weight declaration occurs at weigh-in. Age of all wrestlers determined on December 31, 2009. Any wrestler who meets the age requirement may enter the Novice Elite or Senior Elite Division but returning IKWF Novice and Senior Division state qualifiers and placers must wrestle in the Elite Division. No restrictions for returning Intermediate (formerly Midget) Division state qualifiers or placers. High School wrestlers are not allowed. |
| Brackets: |
All bracketing dependent upon number of entries. Round Robin, 5 man,
and 6 man brackets may be used in place of 8 man blocked or 16 man elite
brackets. If there are more than 16 wrestlers at a given elite weight
class, it will be split evenly between two or more brackets. Duplicate
bouts in the elite division will not occur, the
score from the first bout will carry forward. If there are not enough
girl participants, they have the option to compete in the regular divisions. 7 & 8 - 4 man blocked weights, 9 & Above and Girls - 8 man blocked weights Novice and Senior Elite - 16 man bracket with wrestle backs to 5th place, semifinal losers will wrestle for 3rd place. |
