Weigh-ins:
Will be held at the Decatur Civic Center only. No satellite weigh-ins.
Friday, March 15th – 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm or
Saturday, March 16th – 6:30 am to 7:30 am
Note: Wrestlers will weigh-in ONE TIME for both days of competition. Wrestlers have two consecutive attempts to make their weight either on Friday night or on Saturday morning.
Wrestler Eligibility:
IKWF Bantam and Intermediate wrestlers only as defined in the bylaws or on the Age Groups page.
In addition to the regional and sectional tournament eligibility requirements, wrestlers must qualify for the state tournament by placing in the top 3 at their sectional tournament.
Note: A wrestler’s weight class is determined at the regional tournament. Wrestlers MAY NOT switch weight classes for the state tournament.

Scoring Wrestlers:
Teams are limited to two (2) scoring wrestlers at each weight class. If more than two wrestlers are entered at a given weight, the scoring wrestlers must be declared by the conclusion of weigh-in Saturday morning.
Brackets:
24-man bracket with double elimination and full wrestle backs to 3rd place.
Pairings:
Boys Bantam and Intermediate: See page 39 of the bylaws.
Girls Bantam and Intermediate: See page 41 of the bylaws.
Pairings are drawn at the Jon Davis Kids Open in January and placed in a sealed envelope. Pairing will be revealed and available on this website on Sunday March 3, 2024.
Brackets ARE NOT seeded.
Individual Awards:
State champions receive a bracket board.
Medals to top 8 place winners in each division / weight class.
Team Awards:
Trophies will be awarded to the top five teams in the Girls Bantam, Boys Bantam, Girls Intermediate, and Boys Intermediate divisions.
Coaching:
All coaches must have:
1) An ACTIVE 2023-24 USAW wrestling leader membership.
2) Listed on the ACTIVE club roster.

Spectator Admission:
Adults (13 years old and up): $10 each day (Saturday and Sunday).
Children (5 to 12 years old): $5 each day (Saturday and Sunday).
Children under 5 years old: Free (Saturday and Sunday)
